These videos will help the beginner and the advanced potter. The first set of videos will demystify the making of pottery while not taking anything away from the sense of magic and awe that embodies the potter when they are creating or the buyer when they are purchasing. My original intent was not meant to replace the many good videos currently on the market. Rather, my wish was to focus on a more in depth instruction than is currently available. I will assume you have been introduced to the basics of wedging and the basic structure and capabilities of clay. What I have found in my 24 years of teaching is that pottery students need in depth information and understanding of techniques to perform to their highest level of technical ability. I will teach you the minutia which will enable you to make pots faster, easier and with less stress on your body.
